Roulette game is a very popular gambling game played in casinos all over the world.

A risk is accompanying this game, it supplies players with a lot of remarkable emotions. A wheel of roulette is divided in 37 evenly put fields, numbered from 0 up to 36. The field with number 0 is marked on the roulette with green color, 18 numbers are marked with red and 18 with black. We can bet in roulette on any

amount of numbers and their combinations, as well as on dozen and columns. Roulette also gives the possibility to bet on “simple chances”, that is: the black and the red, the even and the odd or the low and the high.

Roulette game  is characterized by the fact that each player uses tokens in different color, to not to mistake bets they have made. The roulette wheel is operated by the croupier, who moves the ball in direction opposite to direction the wheel moves in. The game begins when all the players have made their bets. Betting finishes with the announcement of the croupier: “end of betting”, and then the ball falls into the pigeonhole pointing the winning number. This number is not known to the players until the ball stops on it.

At a such table we play roulette. After announcement of the winning number the accounting is being carried out. The players who was in luck and put their tokens on victorious number, take winnings.

One from scientific fields which is connected with aspects of roulette game, is ballistics. To give players a bigger chance to win in roulette, the European and American casinos allow them to bet on numbers after throwing ball by the croupier. But the player have to manage to make the bet by the time of announcing “end of betting”. Among „simple chances” called also internal bets, we often rate bets 1^st 18, and 2^nd 18, the even and the odd. An exceptional number on the wheel is zero. In a case the player bet 0 or its combinations, winnings are paid in the same way as in case of betting on any other number. In the roulette we rate among 0-combinations: split, corner and street. If the player bets on simple chances, but zero is scored, he  loses half of the stake. When we bet on dozen or columns and zero is scored, all the bets are lost.

As we can see, roulette is a random game and everything in it depends on a luck that the player does have or does not. Almost from always roulette has been defined as a symbol of  brilliance, emotions and flights in casinos all over the world.
